While I loved working in pediatric outpatient clinics and schools, I realized that high patient/student volumes and long waitlists were huge barriers to receiving quality care. I started Sugarloaf Speech therapy because I am passionate about making speech therapy accessible to families.

I take all the same strategies, knowledge, and expertise I used for years in medical and educational settings and deliver them in any kid’s most natural communication environment- their home!

I am a nationally-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and I hold my professional licenses in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

I am a proud first-generation Filipino-American and know firsthand how formative language is in bridging people to their culture. I am committed to delivering culturally-sensitive care to all families I work with.

My educational training includes my Bachelor of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences addition to my Master’s in Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University Maryland (Go Hounds!)

You can find me at a weekend farmer’s market, perfecting my at-home latte, or browsing your local bookstore.
